Friends & the Faculty

Held every fall, this event celebrates the accomplishments of engineering students over the past year and provides Friends members the opportunity to hear faculty updates and meet top students. Monday Night H.I.R.E.D.
(Helping Industry Reach Engineering Students Directly)

Held every Monday night during the academic term and organized by the Faculty of Engineering’s Co-op/IIP office and UMES, the Friends of Engineering financially supports this opportunity for industry to come and share professional tips or job openings at their companies. Annual Engineering Reverse Career Fair

Held every January, the Friends, together with the Faculty of Engineering’s Co-op/IIP office, co-host this unique career fair at the University of Manitoba. Hundreds of engineering students market themselves to potential employers by setting up booths and allowing industry representatives to visit them.
